Jia Xiang Mee @ VivoCity Mall

The store in VivoCity was the first time I tried Jia Xiang Mee, introduced by a friend. Since then, I’ve tried their other stores but none of them has the same standard as this one (according to my personal preference). Last week I was in VivoCity and thought about eating noodle, so I visited this place again after so many years! (I’ve been to Vivo for several times during that period but never eat here lol..).

I ordered Jia Xiang Mee. The original one. It comes with wontons and shrimps as well. At first bite, I felt disappointed because even tho the texture of the noodle was springy and nice, I felt like it was too bland in taste. I continued eating for a while until I saw the condiment table!! OMG, I should have added some of the condiments! I took soy sauce, white pepper and chili pickle. I put soy sauce and pepper into the bowl and mixed everything. Moment of truth.. hap! It tasted sooo much better! Then I tried their wonton as well. It was great! Skin were thin and meat inside was tasty. Yum~!

Jia Xiang Mee

The noodle itself is SGD 7.9, but I bought water bottled as well so the total was SGD $9.9. Still affordable for a meal in the mall I think.
